alicia and rick

kai is coming up on seven weeks this coming saturday. he is smiling and has let a few chuckles sneak in recently. he grew another few cm's and kg's too.

mom "a" has been in town for the past few weeks, and father's day brought the arrival of dad "a" to see his grandson for the first time. at about the same time, we bid farewell for the summer to mom "c" and andrew, who were heading back to the states for some fun-filled summer activities.

i decided to take another week off to enjoy kai with the family. we seized on the opportunity to include kai in some touring, riding up the peak tram and taking a few shots on the viewing deck before we all melted in the intense heat. i think they need to put some of those misting fans up there to make it bearable.

even though it looked a bit hazy from our "clear" disco bay perch, the view ended up being pretty good considering there were no mainland holidays to disrupt the pollution spews in the pearl river delta up north.

in celebration of the beautiful day, ricka took some time to school mr bruce lee in the finer arts of the crane kick. i know what you are thinking - of course it was really him! like elvis, houdini and jfk, this guy never really died. all i gotta say is wax on, wax off. ;p

kai has been making some funny faces recently - after mom "a" stole this shot, i began to wonder what other interesting things i've started doing in public. notice my burp rag accessory, please. we'll try to keep up with posting. it's not that we don't have hundreds of pics and vids to put up.
