question for those with experience
hey all,
still alive after two nights and three days away from professionals at the matilda hospital (although we've had help from professional grandma, alicia's mom). so far my record is three dirty diapers in a single change, but my changing speed is slowing down so i'm sure i will break that soon.
kai managed to pee five times during a single bath, which was about once a minute. other than that, i will cap off the bodily functions topic with the fact that he long ago moved from tar to mustard, for those in the know.
so here is my question - i've been viewing our rapidly growing trash bags (and accordingly rapidly declining supply of fresh nappies) - what is the secret to the single wipe diaper change?

Haha - fun stuff guys! It looks to me as if Kai is just very good at disposing of his liquids. Taisei didn't really pee that much while we were changing him.
But one thing that might help is if it's not too cold in the room when you take off his diaper. Too warm could do it too, like you've already found out with your nice warm bath. It could also be that the wipes are cold and help to "stimulate" him. Wipe warmer? Wami and I also ripped the wipes in half in an attempt to deccelerate the declining supply of nappies. :)
The one thing that we DO know is that tomorrow, you'll have something new to worry about. So, there's no need to spend too much money and grief on any one thing.
Have fun!
holla at me
