the inevitable

The weather here just keeps getting hotter and hotter, and with it my belly has become more and more itchy. Even though I faithfully used the belly cream, today I saw the shiny little devils dancing around my belly - stretch marks!!

I guess we knew this would have happened eventually - he's sticking so far out I shouldn't be surprised.

I've come down with a virus of some sort - runny nose and sore throat. Anyone deliver when they were sick?

Hey alicia,
Congrats! I was down with bronchitis when i gave birth. Kaelyn was fine, but it was the start of many anxieties. Don't worry, parents are a fearful group according to marketers around the world. They will soon be selling you all sorts of fears and their solutions. Some are real and some are imagined, but the one thing you can count on is your intuition - that is real. Warmest wishes - Lund, Jenn, Kaelyn

Are you in Hong Kong now? My youngest brother is there on a mission. Elder Alex Cheung. He is sick in a hospital for a few weeks but should be back on his feet soon. Hopefully you will all stay healthy and be careful in the city!

Wow, anyday now! How exciting! I wish you guys all the best and hope everything goes smoothly and quickly with the delivery.
It's a crazy day of emotional and physical lows and highs. But the grand finally, when that perfect little boy is in your arms, and in that quiet moment you realize you are finaly a family, how sweet it is to hold someone that's apart of you, made of your love, and then everything dissappears, you forget everything you've gone though in the last 9 months and you would do it all again in another 9 months! ;) hehehe jk.
It's a great feeling, don't get me wrong, but after 12 hrs of labor I was very willing to jump on the Angelina adoption bandwagon! :)

Best of luck! I can already guess he'll be beautiful! oh, one more thing, don't forget to pack your chapstick like I did. After all that whoo-whoo-whoo-heeing your lips will thank you.

hey alicia, please take care of yourself! there are flus going around in hong kong now and one hit my youngest brother while on his mission this past month and he now has a semi-paralyzing situation which he will eventually recover from, however, he has to spend a lot of weeks in the hospital now. i don't think it hits everyone, but it just so happen to get my brother. and it all starts off with a cold or flu. so be careful!
